Margarita’s first solo before a (paying) audience was at the ripe old age of seven and the song was from the Sound of Music. She sang the famous line, “Let’s start at the very beginning…” and indeed, it is a good place to start.

Having grown up in the Sunshine State, Margarita first discovered music as a child singing with her sister and friends. They even wrote a few songs (surprisingly no record deals were offered!) with harmonies and choreography. Thus began her love of performing. She went on to study music in college and moved to New York City in order to continue her art. Margarita’s style ranges from full blown classical (think woman with the horns on her hat) to choral music, cabaret and her beloved musical theater.
